Air Knife
ESN Northwest offers air knife services for utility clearance prior
to any drilling or direct push work. The air knife is a safe and
efficient alternative to hand clearing methods such as hand augering.
Our Utilivac® air knife is capable of penetrating soil using a powerful
air-vacuum excavation system that safely exposes utility lines without
causing damage to them.
Details about our air knife:
- Size: small enough to fit on roadway medians, in narrow alleys, and
other tight spots. Dimensions: 68" x 8.25" x 12.75" (72 cm x 21 cm
x 33 cm).
- Weight: under 160 lbs.
- Applications: dry soil, wet soil, mud, water, and aggregate.
- Vacuum power: 850 CFM.
- Reach: normally 100 feet from the air compressor; and up to 1000 feet
if needed.
