Grab Sampling of water samples can be done immediately upon reaching the water table by use of drop-down type screen samplers made of either stainless steel or plastic materials. Depending on the depth, ESN staff will use a peristaltic pump, large volume syringes, bailers (0.5" O.D.), jiggle tube apparatuses, or can install bladder pumps. Any of these samplers may be used inside the probe tube. ESN has obtained water samples from as deep as 100' using such tools!
